Who We Are

CIAG Team

The Center for Inclusive and Accountable Governance (CIAG) is a nonpolitical, nonprofit organization founded in 2023 by women activists. Our core purpose is to prepare the next generation of women leaders in Somaliland.

CIAG serves as a center of excellence and a dialogue hub, dedicated to advancing inclusive leadership, gender equality, and accountable governance. We advocate for transparent, responsive, and effective governance that truly meets the needs of society.

Since 2024, we have trained over 150 women leaders, organized 7 Public Forums and multiple stakeholder debates, and built networks of women leaders and male allies across Somaliland.
